How to Make the Perfect Pizza

Pro tip: A seasoned cast iron pan is the ultimate pizza game-changer. But don’t stress—if you don’t have one (yet), a well-oiled cookie sheet will totally do the trick. That said… this is your sign to get a cast iron pan. Trust me, it’s worth it.

1️⃣ Prepare the Dough

Take the dough out of the fridge and let it sit on the counter for 30-45 minutes. This lets the gluten relax, making it way easier to stretch. When ready to stretch, cut the bag open and drop the dough onto a floured counter. Use plenty of flour when rolling out!

💡 Shortcut: No time to wait? Gently stretch the dough, let it rest for 10 minutes, then stretch again.

2️⃣ Preheat the Oven

Crank it up to 550°F (or as hot as your oven can go). We want that crispy, golden crust.

3️⃣ Dust with Flour

Once the dough has rested, lightly flour your work surface and both sides of the dough to keep things from sticking.

4️⃣ Shape the Dough

Using gentle hands, press from the center outward, pushing any trapped air bubbles toward the edges. Once you reach the crust, slightly crease it to help define that perfect puffy edge.

5️⃣ Stretch by Hand

Now for the fun part. Pick up the dough and start stretching it by hand. The best method? Gently lift and rotate it while letting gravity do its thing. Just be careful not to tear it—thin and stretchy is the goal.

6️⃣ Transfer to the Pan

Using a cast iron pan? Place the stretched dough directly into it.

Using a cookie sheet? First, coat the bottom with a  layer of olive oil to prevent sticking.

7️⃣ Add the Toppings

Now it’s time to load it up!

Brush the crust with garlic butter for that extra flavor boost.

Spread a few tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly across the dough—don’t overdo it!

For the cheese, slice fresh mozzarella into thin rounds or tear it into chunks and spread them across the pizza. (We prefer the tear method)

Have fun with any extra toppings you love.

8️⃣ Final Steps

Once your pizza looks perfect, pop it in the oven and bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling. Rotate your pans in the oven halfway through.  Brush the crust with garlic butter one last time. This is the game changer for your pizza. Then, try to let it cool before diving in.

How to Make the Perfect Cookies 🍪

🔥 Preheat your oven to 350°F.

➡️ Place cookies 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.

⏳ Bake for 10-14 minutes—just until the edges turn golden and the centers are slightly undercooked.

✨ This is the secret to that crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside perfection.

Now, enjoy your pizza and cookies like the absolute boss you are.
